{"id":1615,"date":"2023-11-10T09:37:21","date_gmt":"2023-11-09T23:37:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambcanberra.esteri.it\/?p=1615"},"modified":"2023-11-13T07:37:53","modified_gmt":"2023-11-12T21:37:53","slug":"italian-participation-to-indo-pacific-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambcanberra.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2023\/11\/italian-participation-to-indo-pacific-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Italian participation to Indo Pacific 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 2023 edition of Indo-Pacific, a major naval defence and maritime industry exhibition with a strong Australian federal and state presence, took place in Sydney between 7-9 November 2023.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Alongside the United States, the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Japan, Italy was the only country from the European Union to have its own stand, curated by ICE-Agenzia Sydney and featuring some of the best companies in the industry, including Fincantieri.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Certainly the Indo-Pacific is a unique opportunity for our companies, as well as a chance for the re-launch of cooperation at a bilateral level,&#8221; said Ambassador Crudele, who was present at the opening of the national pavilion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Two high-level military delegations were present in Sydney, one from the General Secretariat of Defence\/National Armaments Directorate and one from the Navy, with a busy schedule of bilateral meetings with representatives of the Australian Armed Forces and other key nations in the Indo-Pacific region.
