The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation promotes the dissemination of Italian publishing and cinematographic works abroad by providing incentives to translation and dubbing\/subtitling initiatives, as a strategic tool for promoting Italian language and culture abroad.<\/p>\n

The Foreign Ministry provides two types of financial incentives:<\/p>\n

grant\u00a0<\/strong>for the translation of an Italian literary work, which has not yet been published abroad, and for the production, dubbing and subtitling of short\/feature-length films and TV series;<\/li>\n
award\u00a0<\/strong>to an Italian work already translated abroad<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Applications should be sent to one of the 2 offices of the Italian Cultural Institutes in Australia according to your address:<\/p>\n
For the residents in NT, QLD, NSW and ACT refer to the IIC in Sydney<\/a> and send the application to iicsydney@esteri.it<\/a><\/p>\n
For the residents in TAS, VIC, SA and WA refer to the IIC Melbourne<\/a> and send the application to iicmelbourne@esteri.it<\/a><\/p>\n

The application deadline for the 2025 edition is 7 April 2025.<\/p>\n
