The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation promotes the distribution of Italian publications and films abroad through the granting of funding for translation and dubbing\/subtitling, which represent a strategic tool for the promotion of the Italian language and culture abroad.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Publishers, translators, production companies, dubbing and subtitling, distribution companies and cultural and international institutions, based both in Italy and abroad, can apply for two types of incentives:<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Grants<\/strong>:<\/p>\n – incentive for the translation into a foreign language and distribution by means of publication (including in digital e-book format) of Italian literary and scientific works, the publication of which is planned after August 1, 2022;<\/p>\n – production, dubbing or subtitling in a foreign language of short films, feature films and television series to be made after 1 August 2022.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Awards<\/strong>:<\/p>\n – incentive to Italian works (also in digital e-book format), including short films and feature films and television series intended for the mass media, which have been published, translated, produced, dubbed, subtitled on a date not prior to 1 January 2021.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Applications must be submitted NO LATER THAN MAY 6, 2022<\/strong> to the Italian Embassy of Italy through the Italian Cultural Institute in Sydney<\/a> or the Italian Cultural Institute in Melbourne<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Call for Applications 2022 (ITA)<\/a><\/p>\n Application form for Awards and Fundings 2022 (ITA\/ENG)<\/a><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n
