A brand-new tool for showcasing a creative, dynamic and varied Country.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Minister\u2019s opening address will be followed by a conversation between the Central Director for the promotion of Italian culture and language,\u202f<strong>Cecilia Piccioni<\/strong>, and the journalist and author\u202f<strong>Loredana Lipperini<\/strong>, about the\u202fitaliana project and its exclusive contents produced by the Foreign Ministry: 39 videos of drama, music, dance and circus projects made in connection with the programme called\u202f<strong>Vivere all\u2019Italiana sul palcoscenico e in musica<\/strong>, developed in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, calling for theatrical and musical (classical and Jazz) representations of the Italian lifestyle;\u202f10 clips of <strong>Female Portraits<\/strong>, created with the Premio Solinas Award, about how women inspire Italian society; the podcasts of the\u202f<strong>Music and the Cities<\/strong> project, with Raffaele Costantini and Studio 33, an account in music of their travels through the country;\u202fthe documentaries of<strong> JazzLife, with a capital J<\/strong>, with Umbria Jazz, celebrating the great Italian Jazz tradition and the beauty of Umbria. As well as the many anniversaries marked in recent years, with the video\u202f<strong>Testimonials of Testimonials<\/strong> produced by Studio Azzurro for the 2021 Remembrance Day; and future projects too, with the presentation by italiana of a packed calendar of book releases via a magazine-newsletter, from March, with events related to the\u202f<strong>700th anniversary of the death of Dante Alighieri<\/strong>,\u202fand lots more besides&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The key topic of the conference will be the new challenges faced by Italian culture, language and creativity abroad and the importance of networking, with video contributions by\u202f<strong>Paolo Fresu<\/strong>\u202f(musician),\u202f<strong>Michela Murgia<\/strong>\u202f(author),<strong>\u202fMarianna Vitale<\/strong>\u202f(chef), besides representatives of the network of Italian Institutes of Culture and many Italian educational centres, archaeological missions and scholarship projects supported by the Foreign Ministry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The new portal, in fact, has been designed to promote and develop the <strong>Foreign Ministry\u2019s cultural network<\/strong>,\u202fa virtual forum where visitors can find up-to-date information about the activities of the\u202f<strong>82 Italian Institutes of Culture abroad, Italian language schools, lectureships, archaeological missions\u202f<\/strong>and Unesco-related activities and the World Heritage sites in Italy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">One of the opening features of the event will be the screening of the video <em>\u201cL&#8217;Italia non \u00e8 mai stata cos\u00ec vicina\u201d<\/em> (Italy has never been so close) produced by the Foreign Ministry for the launch of\u202fitaliana\u202f and made by Think Cattleya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The press office of\u202fitaliana.lingua cultura creativit\u00e0 nel mondo is provided by Ex Libris Comunicazione.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The event will be live streamed on the YouTube channel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCTb1JMVIjbXXDvN1ldghMww\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/MinisteroEsteri<\/a>),\u202fthe\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/mae\/en\/\">www.esteri.it<\/a> portal and the websites of the 128 Italian Embassies and 82 Italian Institutes of Culture abroad.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"resource\/img\/2021\/03\/1o_post.jpg\" alt=\"1o post\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"On Thursday, 4 March 2021, at 15.00 (CET), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will hold a press conference, in virtual format, to launch its new portal called\u202fitaliana celebrating Italian language, culture and creativity worldwide\u202f(italiana.esteri.it).
