Slow Food – A future for Amatrice
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation fully supports the initiative of Slow Food, which has launched an international solidarity campaign to support the populations affected by the earthquake that hit central Italy on August 24.
In the attached release, Slow Food asks restaurateurs from around the world, particularly those that offer traditional Italian cuisine, to include in their menus for a period of one year “Pasta all‘Amatriciana” and then donate the proceeds to the city of Amatrice two Euro for each dish served (one euro is donated by the customers and one by the restaurant).
