First official visit of the Ambassador to Adelaide.

First official visit of the Ambassador of Italy Paolo Crudele to Adelaide.

The Ambassador met the Premier of South Australia Peter Malinauskas , the Minister for Education Blair Boyer and the Minister for Multicultural Affairs and Tourism, Zoe Bettison.

Focus of these meetings were the strengthening of institutional, commercial and cultural relations with South Australia.

The Ambassador also participated to a round table with Flinders University and University of South Australiato see the state of art of the italian language teaching in the tertiary institutions.

The visit to the South Australian Parliament was hosted by the Hon. David Speirs, Leader of the Opposition.

 

The enhancement of the Italian community was the subject of the discussion with Com.It.Es South Australia which also hosted a meeting with representatives of Italian associations and clubs of the area.

The Ambassador also gave two interviews to Radio Italia Uno and Radio Italiana 531.

 

At the Lot Fourteen district, the Ambassador met the Director of Australian Space Agency, Enrico Palermo, as well as our main companies active in the aerospace and cybersecurity fields.

The visit ended with the participation at the 14th Space Forum in Adelaide, the main fair event in the sector in Australia organised by The Andy Thomas Space Foundation which saw the participation of over 1000 delegates from all over the world. The presence of the Italian System was ensured by ITA Trade Agency in collaboration with this Embassy and the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Australia inc.
