On the occasion of World Nutella Day, the Italian Ambassador to Australia Paolo Crudele, invited by Ferrero and accompanied by the Consul General in Sydney Gianluca Rubagotti, visited the Lithgow factory where the famous Italian company produces Nutella.

Ferrero has been present in Australia since 1974, where, through commercial operations in Australia and New Zealand, it employs more than 300 employees. Lithgow was the group’s first factory built outside Europe.

The visit allowed the Ambassador to learn more about the important Italian investment in Australia. “I am very happy with this visit to the Ferrero production plant to participate in this event which celebrates one of the most loved products in the world. Ferrero is not only a historic Italian brand, but also represents one of the best examples of quality Italian products, as well as the great potential of collaboration between our country and Australia” said Ambassador Crudele.

Today, Ferrero has 36 production plants in 5 different continents, employs more than 45,000 people and its products are sold in more than 170 countries.
