The Flaiano International Prize for Italianistics, established in 2002 and named after Amb. Luca Attanasio since 2021, is now in its 24th edition, with the confirmation of the ‘Young under 35 Section’. Promoted and organised, as part of the International Flaiano Prizes, by the Ennio Flaiano Cultural Association and the Edoardo Tiboni Foundation, the Prize has progressively established itself as a major event for the valorisation of Italianistic works.
Since its first edition, the Prize has obtained the patronage of this Ministry, also availing itself of the collaboration of the Network of Italian Institutes of Culture (IIC) both in the valorisation of the initiative and in the recommendation of the most deserving works. The Jury of the Prize, in fact, composed of experts in the field, takes into consideration the works proposed by the Directors of the IICs, who may indicate up to three works published between 1 April 2024 and 15 April 2025 in the country of reference. In the elaboration of these proposals, it is recommended to take advantage of the collaboration of the University Departments of Italian Studies, where present. The works submitted must be sent by the IIC, by post and in duplicate, to the address indicated in the call for entries by 10 May, also providing confirmation of submission and sharing a presentation of the work and its author with the email address associazione.flaiano@gmail.com .
