On Wednesday 07 December in the occasion of the Italian National Space Day, the Italian and Australian space communities gathered together in the scenic location of Mt. Stromlo observatory, Canberra.
The common feeling that emerged from the day was of deep and solid connections at every level, institutional, industrial scientific and human and the collaboration will keep on growing in quantity and quality.
The story of the SpiRIT nano-satellite represents a fascinating example of cooperation between Italy and Australia in the Space Sector.
Thanks to dr Michele Trenti from The University of Melbourne , Dr Eduardo Trifoni from The Australian National University, dr Arvind Ramana from Australian Space Agency, dr Fabrizio Fiore and Lorenzo Natalucci from INAF – Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica and all participants to the conference celebrating with us the Giornata Dello Spazio.
