The Canberra branch of the Accademia Italiana della Cucina and the Embassy of Italy invite you to the 2024 Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World official dinner.
Join us for a delightful journey through the rich traditions of Italian cuisine and uncover Italy’s top culinary destinations with insights from a travel expert.
The event will be held Tuesday 19 November on Black Mountain Peninsula at the Red Shed which has expansive views on Lake Burley Griffin.
Menu – 3 courses ($130 per person)
Entrée – served share style
- Selection of Italian meats, cheese, olives, pickles & fresh bread (3 serves per table of 10 people)
- Oven roasted prawns with olive oil & lemon (1 per person) (DF, GF)
- Heirloom tomatoes served with fresh burrata, dried olives & basil (GF) (2 serves per table of 10 people)
Main – served alternate drop
- Chicken involtini filled with spinach, ricotta rolled in crispy prosciutto cooked in lemon white wine + roasted potatoes, rosemary salt (GF)
- Roasted salmon fillet with roasted fennel, dill & confit cherry tomatoes + broccolini (GF, DF)
- Strozzapreti Bolognese
Dessert – served alternate drop
- Tiramisu
- Semifreddo
The tables are set up for 10 people with still complimentary water, sparkling water, and fruit juice.
Wine and cocktails can be purchased from a curated wine list.
