Where to apply for a visa

For visa applications, members of the public may only attend the Consular Office that has jurisdiction over their place of residence.
For example, a person living in Melbourne cannot apply for services at the Consulate in Canberra.

Australian citizens don’t need a visa if they stay in Italy for less than 90 days.
