VIII NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF ITALIAN TEACHERS IN AUSTRALIA: “ITALIAN LANGUAGE AND SUSTAINABILITY”

Final

As part of the events held on the occasion of the XXIII Week of the Italian Language in the World, the Italian Embassy in Canberra, the Italian Consulate in Brisbane, the Italian Cultural Institute in Sydney and the Co.As.It. /ILC Brisbane organize the VIII National Conference of Italian teachers in Australia.

The Conference will take place on Saturday 21 October 2023 at the All Hallows School in Brisbane, starting at 9:00. Like every year, while adhering to the usual criteria of language teaching and training, the work of the Conference will be inspired by the theme of the Italian Language Week, namely “Italian Language and sustainability”.

The conference’s day will be inaugurated by a greeting from the Ambassador of Italy, H.E. Paolo Crudele, followed by the speech by Prof. Monica Barni of the University for Foreigners of Siena and by the interventions of academics and experts in the language sector. During the afternoon, 6 workshops will also be held, opened to Italian teachers from primary and secondary schools across Australia.
