Scholarships for the Accademia d’Arti e Mestieri dello Spettacolo Teatro alla Scala – Academy of Advanced Training for Opera Singers and Global Master in Performing Arts Management

Selections are now open for the two-year specialisation course for opera singers and the one-year Global master’s degree course in ‘Performing Arts Management’ (a.y. 2025-2026) at the Accademia d’Arti e Mestieri dello Spettacolo Teatro alla Scala, one of the most authoritative institutions for the training of professionals working in the performing arts.
For both courses, MAECI offers scholarships to foreign students.

For the Postgraduate Academy for opera singers, MAECI provides up to a maximum of 10 scholarships for foreign students, with a duration of 9 months starting from 1 January 2026. Each admitted student will benefit from a scholarship of € 900.00 per month.

Applications must be submitted no later than 9 April 2025.

For the Global Master in Performing Arts Management, MAECI is making available up to a maximum of 9 scholarships for foreign students, with a duration of 6 months starting on 1 January 2026. These are in addition to the 3 scholarships offered by the Gianluca Spina Association of the Politecnico di Milano, for details of which please refer to the specific call for applications: scholarship-spina-2025.pdf

EU citizens must apply no later than 1 October 2025, while non-EU citizens must apply no later than 17 September 2025.

Applications for the Gianluca Spina Association scholarship must be submitted no later than 18 June 2025.
